Choi Pen Technique
Choi Implanter Pen is one of the newest techniques in hair transplantation and it is also called as Direct Hair Implantation (DHI). It is a pen-like device with a 0.5-1.5mm hollow needle on one of its ends.
At Clinichub, our expert team of hair loss specialists works to restore hair through the newest technologies – letting you get back to being you. How Does Choi Pen or DHI Work?
During procedure, 2-6 Choi implanter pens are used concurrently. The different sizes allow the fitting of single, double and triple follicular units.
The idea behind this technique is to combine making channel incision and implantation of grafts.
DHI is the latest and cutting edge technique in the hair transplantation and hair restoration.
Least Invasive Technique
For the extraction and the placement, micro instruments are used with a diameter of 1 mm or less. It is minimally invasive, pain free and less recovery time technique.
Full control of the depth, the direction and the angle of placement ensures natural result.
Difficulties of The Technique
Direct Hair Transplantation is more appropriate for patients who have less hair loss. It is hard to perform hair transplant more than 4000 grafts with DHI.
The duration of the procedure is longer than FUE Hair Transplantation.
